Can I write off my company's HMRC tax debts?

Not by asking - HMRC doesn't negotiate debt forgiveness with trading companies, and anyone marketing "HMRC write-offs" is selling one of the formal routes below with the honesty removed.

What actually reduces or ends HMRC debt

Time to Pay - full payment, rescheduled; nothing written off, everything survivable.

A CVA - creditors including HMRC vote to accept a proportion over years, with the shortfall written off on completion; HMRC scrutinises and frequently shapes these proposals.

Liquidation - unpaid company tax without personal attachment dies with the company; the write-off is real, and so is the company's ending.

The personal caveats

The write-off reaches you only as far as limited liability does: Personal Liability Notices for NI in neglect cases, security demands, the anti-phoenix rules for repeat patterns, and conduct claims all sit outside it.

The honest framing

The question behind the question is usually viability: a viable company reschedules; a non-viable one closes properly and the debt ends with it - both legitimate, neither a trick.

0333 023 5090 - a licensed practitioner will tell you which applies, without the marketing.
